Cancellation policy
We understand that plans can change, and we want to make this as clear and fair as possible. Our cancellation policy depends on whether the course or event you have booked is “residential” or “non-residential.”
Residential events include: The Love Festival, retreats, residential trainings, and any other event that includes accommodation as part of your booking.
Non-residential events include: weekend workshops without accommodation, and afternoon or evening events run by our facilitators.
Residential Events
If you need to cancel your place on a residential course or event:
Within 3 months or less of the start date: no refund can be given. You may, however, sell, gift, or transfer your ticket to anyone over the age of 18. Please notify us in advance by email or WhatsApp of any changes.
More than 3 months before the start date: we will refund 50% of the ticket price or tuition fee. Please note that refunds cannot be offered for food, accommodation, or instalment charges.
If you are paying by instalments and choose to cancel during your payment period, you remain liable to complete the payment plan as agreed at the time of booking. If you are eligible for a refund, this will be issued only after the full payment plan has been completed.
Non-Residential Events
If you need to cancel your place on a non-residential event:
1 month or more before the start date: we will issue a credit note for 50% of the event fee. This credit can be applied to one of our future events within 12 months of issue. It is your responsibility to use the credit within this timeframe. Less than 1 month before the event: we are unable to offer any refund, transfer, or credit.
Cancellations by us
If we need to cancel an event for reasons within our reasonable control, you will receive a full refund of the amount you paid at booking. Where possible, we will aim to provide at least one week’s notice and may also offer alternative dates or events.
Force Majeure
If the delivery of a course or event is delayed, hindered, made inadvisable, commercially impracticable, illegal, or impossible due to events beyond our reasonable control (a “Force Majeure Event”), we cannot be held liable for failure or delay in fulfilling our obligations, and refunds cannot be offered.
Force Majeure Events include, but are not limited to: natural disasters, extreme weather, acts of God, war, political unrest, epidemics or pandemics, government action, or any other event outside of our control. In such circumstances, and only if commercially viable, we may at our discretion offer you the option to transfer your booking to a future event.
